Introduction
A Supporter membership allows anyone whose ideals are aligned with the GMA’s mission to financially support the organization with no formal obligations to the GMA (only need adhere to Website Terms of Service).
For those unable to receive the required number of recommendations to become a General Member or Trusted Business, the Supporter membership also helps establish relationships with other reputable existing members who may at a later time provide a recommendation.
Dues
Supporter member dues are $10 per year. The membership renewal period begins Nov. 15 of each year and the membership expires on Dec. 31.
How Your Dues Are Used
The Global Meteorite Association, Inc. is a registered nonprofit and uses your dues to service programs like education and outreach, manage the operation of the organization including costs associated with the website, and other activities run by the Board. No board member or volunteer receives any compensation for their time or efforts. Your dues are used strictly for the benefit of GMA members and the community at large. The GMA adheres to a strict Conflicts of Interest Policy and accounts for all monies spent in its annual financial statements.

Responsibilities
As long as the Supporter remains a member is in good standing, they will receive the membership benefits offered above.
Supporters must adhere to the Website Terms of Service.
Requirements
Applicant will need to fill out the Supporter Membership online form. Membership is automatically approved upon payment of dues. No recommendations are needed for this membership level. However, the application will be reviewed by the Chair of the Membership Committee to ensure application is properly completed and does not violate the Organization’s terms of use, or policies, and does not include spam or any inappropriate content.
Additionally, the Membership Committee may revoke membership if account was created under false pretenses, person is a known scammer or other reasons that could create future liabilities for the GMA. of Directors.
