I became interested in meteorites because how neat is it to hold something from space in your hands?
I think my first purchase was 30 gr piece of Sericho. My favorite now is Almahata Sitta because of all the different lithologies found in one fall.
I have put together a decent collection of miscellaneous types, lunar, martian, and carbonaceous. My favorites are carbonaceous especially Moapa Valley, Sutters Mill, Tarda, and Murchison.
I have obtained pieces from Doug Chenin, Mark Arjadal, Matt Stream, Mark Lyon, and various other dealers.
I consider David Libuszowski a friend and mentor. I watch Topher’s hang outs for the knowledge and science presented in easy to understand format.
GMA is helpful because I can contact members with huge knowledge about everything meteorite related and get information I need.
